At Mindbody Matters in Newmarket, your decision to leave the smoking habit for good can become a reality with as little discomfort as possible! Each quit smoking session using suggestion hypnotherapy takes approximately 1hour. In our initial session I will discuss with you the reasons you  smoke, your current smoking habits and then we will examine your reasons why you now want to quit. You will then do your first session of the  quit smoking program under hypnosis.  Your next session will be a double session.  There are 3 sessions in all, comprising of 2 visits.

My aim is to re-educate the unconscious part of the mind about smoking.

Also, the hypnosis session is to  promote calmness and a feeling of  well-being and to ward off feelings of stress and irritability often associated with quitting smoking. Each session is tailor-made for the individual and care is taken to help with symptom substitution such as overeating.

Reasons to Stop Smoking

You must decide to stop smoking for your own good reasons. Start to think now about your 3 main reasons why you want to quit and make them as personal to you as possible. E.g… to get rid of that awful cough in the morning!

Smoking a pack of cigarettes a day increases risk for all cancers by 200 percent, lung cancer by 1000 percent and heart disease 300-400 percent. Smoking two or more packs a day increases lung cancer risk by a factor of 15-25 (i.e., by 1500 percent to 2500 percent).So if you have decided to make one of the most important health changes in your life as  a smoker, hypnosis is one, if not the, best tool to help you with that change!  Here at Mindbody Matters Hypnosis I can give you the tools to help that change come about.

Stop Smoking Program
The Stop Smoking Program has a very high success rate and many have no cravings or discomfort after they have stopped smoking.
It is done in 3 sessions, with 2 visits/Skype sessions. The first session is a regular length session and is approximately 50 minutes. The second session is then booked for approximately a week later at which time 2 sessions will be done back to back, so you will need to free up a time space of almost 2 hours.
You will finish the second (double) session as a non-smoker!
